Something Happens; Love Found Me

God has been so amazing yet once again.. He does that every time actually...
We celebrated the Valentine event today..
And what I'm about to type is just for my personal record for me to look back upon in the future to remind myself of the great and wonderful things that God has done. But off course, this can act as a reminder to others who were there or just another testimony... :)

So for this Valentine event, we created some musical drama with lots of singing and dancing. We practiced really hard, like almost every day, even until 4.30 in the morning at some instances. And everyone really did their best.

So one night, I had a dream...

We were all in this old deserted small house at night. Christy was walking in front of us and she was leading what appears to be the process of casting out demons, as in literally cast out a demon from a possessed girl. I have no idea who the girl was. But we were walking outside with several people. The scenery was kinda creepy and dark, like the typical horror movie settings. We told the girl to stand at the front and we prayed for her to be prepared for the demon to come out or something. After we were done with prayer, we were about to start the real process.

Suddenly, Jess and I got scared, and we wanted to go back upstairs. So apparently this process was divided into two groups: one who were outside and would interact with the girl immediately and pray for her right at the spot, and two, people who were waiting upstairs and would pray for her from there. So Jess and I walked back to the house and we went into the second floor where everyone was gathered. They were shocked by our appearance. I remembered seeing Christine M. sitting next to Tiffany. At first I thought that it was the Hoper CG, plus a few others from different CG and minus some Hoper members.

"What happened?" one of them asked, I think it was Christine.
"We got scared," Jess and I both answered.

In the room we were in, there was this huge window that allowed us to see what happened in the backyard, which is where the first group was. They locked the girl up in some sort of jail, or the garage of the backyard. And as I turned my head towards it, I saw how the door of the jail flung open in an instant and a blue aura came speeding out, zig-zagging into different directions, moving to those who were praying outside.

"It's out! It's out!" I yelled in an instant, "We should pray now!"

We all began to sit down and started to pray. It wasn't just a prayer, it was a spiritual warfare. At this moment, I remember Freddy sitting right in front of me and he looked and me with a confused look before he finally started to pray as well. We prayed hard, reaalllyyy hard. And even though it was just a dream, I could feel the intensity and had this uncomfortable feeling. We all prayed harder and harder and started to speak in tongue.

Suddenly, the door of the room we were in was opened with a swift movement. Everyone stopped and looked up in shock. We were surprised to see the girl who was previously possessed standing there with this smile on her face.

"I'm free! I'm saved!" she shouted.

*end of dream*

So it was a really weird dream. Since it involved casting out demons, I thought this could be considered as a nightmare, but when I woke up, I just felt very normal and not frightened at all. It didn't really bother me until that night when I had my private time talking to God. I asked Him whether the dream was just some random dream or whether it had a significant meaning.

Then He answered that it's about the drama.

I was taken aback. What does the drama have to do with casting out demons? How does it relate to each other anyway? As I continued to question the correlation between the two, God gave me answers and the meaning of the dream one by one.

The process of casting out demons was led by Christy, simply because she was the one who led us in the drama, as in by being the director and scriptwriter.
The people I saw in the dream turned out not to be the Hoper CG, but it was the cast of every persons who were involved with the drama.
Everybody praying represented how everybody is part-taking in this drama and that this itself is also a spiritual warfare.
The girl at the end yelling "I'm free! I'm saved!" represents the souls that will be saved through our play.

Woww... That sounds so cool and encouraging! So I shared it with the others the next night when we met each other to practice again. The weird thing is that the positions of the people I remembered vividly were the exact position we were sitting in that night when I shared. Christine was sitting next to Tiff, and Freddy was really sitting exactly right in front of me. Coincidence? I don't know...

After the encouraging dream, he gave other dreams to Freddy, Ho and James about the drama failing, something terrifying for us to hear. It was either about people not being saved or the drama not going well. We grasped upon this as a warning towards us that we shouldn't be playing around. We should remember that the whole performance is all for God, not for us to showcase our talents or something, we got these talents from God anyway. So we continued to practice with this warning kept in our minds.

So yeah, we got that vision, we got the warning...
We believed that the vision will come true and the warning won't.
We had faith and we were aiming towards this goal to be achieved.

And did it?

Well... Today, after the whole event has ended, we discussed together about the whole event. And I realized once again, how amazing God was... (Note the title of this blog, everything I post about are the amazing things God did anyway)

Ever since the very start of this event, God was present. His presence was really tangible. I myself didn't notice it until I heard it from people. Before we started, we prayed together in unity that something will happen. Something happens... I realized that that's the name of the song we're gonna dance to as the "opening act". It never really crossed my mind what the song truly meant. But that night, right before the performance, God reminded me of the powerful truth behind the song. "Something happens," simple as that... So when we got up on stage to dance, I kept in mind and believed that something will happen tonight!

The whole performance went perfect! Well, to tell the truth, there were a few mistakes and some incidents that happened not according to the script... But God helped us to make it perfect again. He helped us cover the mistakes and made it right anyway. He has already planned beforehand that we should have a small break because He knew of the danger that would await us (glass breaking on stage). And when we forgot dance moves, God made us remember it again so that we could maintain the unity. For the first dance, we always had trouble during the "Jesus" part that got more intense where we all sort of knelt down and raise back up again; some were too late, some were too early, and so it was practically rare that we would do it at the same time. But tonight, without practicing, I saw from the corners of my eyes that we did it in perfect sync! I'm not boasting about the dancers, but if you consider it boasting, then yeah, I'm boasting about how great our God is for allowing and helping us to be so "compact" (read as kompak :p) Not us, but Him.

It's hard to describe every single thing, but to summarize it all, God helped us and He was really there. Like when we danced Something Happens, apparently people could immediately get this extraordinary feeling, which was God's presence. And during some scenes which we the drama cast just saw as normal, others could really see God's presence and they would even cry. It's like Christy said, every scene was able to bless people.

And then at the end, we had this wonderful sharing from Har. As he shared, some of us immediately proceeded to intercede for the others. We prayed that people would be saved tonight, that they would be freed, that they would know the love of God that is unlike any of the love we can find on this Earth. We prayed hard... Really hard... And he preached the message in the best way possible, every word that came out of his mouth were the exact words that had to be spoken, the exact words to bring across the message of God's love.

After the sharing, there was an outer call. And Har invited people to raise their hands if they don't know Jesus yet and would like to do so, or if they have backslidden from Him and wants to go back. All eyes were closed, so I did not dare to look as well. But I heard the most amazing thing. Har kept on saying that he sees the hands being raised, and that alone gave me faith that many were being saved right that instance. I also heard from others that a LOT of people raised their hands. God told Christine L. to open her eyes, cause He wanted to show her something great that is happening tonight; many people raising their hands. Praise God!

And so, back to the question, did it happen?

Yes, it did.

God keeps His promises.

Tonight, on the 12th of February, people were freed and they were saved.

Something has happened; love was found.
