This happened when we had a corporate prayer with other churches in Bay Area. So after all the prayer was done, I got a vision of a coffin. It was kinda scary and weird. Why would God give me a vision through something so frightening? Plus I even saw the corpse inside and it came to life... But, this is not a horror story.. Don't worry..
So after asking God about it, it turns out it had quite a good meaning.
Vision: The lid of the coffin slid open all by itself.
Meaning: Imagine when you were trapped inside the coffin, and the lid suddenly opened. Wouldn't you feel like you finally can move out? You can gain freedom! You can escape death! And it used to be so dark inside, but now you see light again.
Message: We may feel trapped in this world. Everything is so messed up - so many murder, rape, cheating & etc.Or maybe you feel like you sinned and did some bad things yourself. But don't worry, the door is now open! You can move out from all those negative feelings and bondages. There is a way out once we move into the light. And the light, is no other than Jesus Christ.
"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." - John 8:12
Vision: The eyes of the corpse that was closed, is now open.
Meaning: The blind will be able to see. If previously they can't see because something was blocking their eyes, it is now free to see.
Message: People who don't believe in Jesus will be able to see that He is real. The Bible isn't a fairytale. They can't see Jesus physically, but they start to believe in Him by FAITH!
"Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen." - Isaiah 32:3
Vision: The corpse slowly began to move and came out of the coffin.
Meaning: The dead will be reborn. There is new life.
Message: So after believing in Jesus, the next step is to embrace the new life. To symbolize this, there is the water baptism or Holy Spirit baptism. It is a sign that the old you is dead, and you are now reborn as a new person who walks together with Jesus.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17

Vision: Peanut Analogy

This happened a while ago when we had a Holy Spirit baptism at church (I think, I forgot as well). The leaders were asking how people felt, and whether they received anything or not after the new feeling. As people stood up and shared a testimony at the front, I really reaaaallyy wanted to share something too - but I had nothing to share about. So I prayed to God to give me something.
Towards the end, He answered my prayer.
I saw... a peanut...
Strange? That's what I thought as well. It seemed so unrelated and so weird. So I asked God for its meaning. Was it related to elephants? Since elephants like peanuts, you know...
But finally I got it! I don't know if it makes sense, but bear with me. It seemed to make some sense to me back then.
So the peanut represents us. The peanut is still within the shell. So basically, it's not the peanut that people eat. I actually don't know what they can do.. Maybe use it to throw at other people? Which will hurt them. So basically, there is no use in a peanut when it's still inside the shell. (Art & craft related things aside). This represents us as people wo are still afraid and scared. We are still inside our comfort zone - hiding in our own protective shell, afraid to break it open, afraid to come out. What benefit does this bring? Nothing. Just like a peanut in a shell has no benefit to people, when we're still in our own comfort zone, we cannot bring a benefit to others.
Now, what happens if we crack the peanut shell open and obtain the nut inside? It becomes edible! We can eat it and enjoy it! It tastes so good! There is immediately a huge difference than when it was inside the shell. This means that WE should come out of our comfort zone. We should crack open OUR own shells, whatever it is that is hindering us to become enjoyable to others.
Whether we are afraid to talk up to others, or we don't fully believe in God yet... Whatever it is that we are afraid of, we should deal with it fast! God is there to help us. He didn't create us to be like the peanut shell to be thrown at people, but as the nut inside that can bring joy to others.
I know, it's a pretty weird analogy.. But it makes sense in a way. I will never look at a peanut the same way again.. lol..
